Microsoft Dynamics GP will continue to see improvements through 2019, according to a roadmap released last month at GPUG Amplify.
Amplify is an annual conference designed to educate users, partners and developers of Dynamics GP, one of Microsoft’s top-rated business accounting solutions.
The 2017 conference took place last month in Anaheim, Calif. There Microsoft outlined plans to continue adding features to Dynamics GP for the foreseeable future. Here’s their latest roadmap for past and future development of GP:
Microsoft had previously announced plans for a new version of GP. Dynamics GP 2018 is scheduled to release in December 2017. The roadmap released last month ensures that the company will continue to improve for the foreseeable future.
Attendees at Amplify saw a sneak peek into some of the planned features for the 2018 version of the popular ERP product. While few specifics are known about the planned update, here are a few of the general features expected to be showcased in Dynamics GP 2018:
- Workflow version 4.0
- Document attach functionality
- Optimization of Financials and HR/Payroll
- Power Suite improvements
As usual, Microsoft plans to add specific functionality requested by users, a hallmark move that ensures the product continues to meet ongoing customer needs. The product will continue to see development as needed through 2019.
