Data Conversions

Data conversion can help greatly with the continuity of implementing new software.  Seeing your old data in a new system helps you to see how your system will function—with great clarity.

There are strong tools and options for converting data.  Master file data such as vendors, customers, projects and inventory items as well as open items such as unpaid vouchers and invoices, open sales orders and purchase orders can be converted.  Even historical data can be converted if a client sees value.

Typically we help you get your data to an interim source such as a database or worksheet so that you can eliminate the data such as old vendors that you do not want to convert.  This starts implementations on a positive note as unneeded data is not brought over making picking from a possible value list much simpler in your new software program.
