We had 56 clients, prospects, and consultants attend our Dynamics SL event at the Microsoft office in Bloomington, MN today.  7 Boyer & Associates people attended with 3 different presenters.
This was our most successful Dynamics SL event in 10 years in part due to the nice features added to Dynamics SL 2011.

We covered the new enhancement to the Multi-Company module-namely allowing users to be signed into multiple screens within multiple companies at the same time.

Web Services in Dynamics SL was a big topic as was the new Quick Query function which is similar to the Smartlist feature in our Dynamics GP product.  We showed how views could be created by developers to make the tool especially powerful so that the tool is useful for both users wanting to create easy but useful exports and developers looking for an easy way to view their queries.

The audience liked being able to export and open Excel in one click from any grid as well.

Attendees enjoyed seeing Management Reporter and seeing what has improved, in addition to moving off of an Access database (FRx).  Many users especially liked the simple grouping or organizing tools within Management Reporter to filter out FRx Catalogs that are not used often.

We will add the presentation materials to our website shortly just as we added our Dynamics GP materials from last Thursday’s client event yesterday.
