Top 5 things you need to know about Community Summit NA

Written for people deciding whether to spend three days and a travel budget on this. No pitch until the bottom of the page.

1

It's a community event, not just a vendor expo

With 5,500+ attendees and 600+ education sessions across Dynamics, Power Platform, Copilot, and Fabric, the value is in the sessions and the hallway conversations. The 300-partner show floor is worth walking, but it's not the main event.

2

Book lodging early — Gaylord Opryland fills up

The Summit runs at Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, and the room block goes fast. If you're planning to come, lock in a room before you worry about your agenda.

3

Set up the Whova app before you land

Sessions, meetups, and sponsor activity — including ours — run through the Whova event app starting about a month out. Build your agenda there so you're not doing it from a paper program on day one.

4

Bring your actual numbers

The benchmarking and product roadmap sessions are only useful if you can compare against your own systems, data, and process today. Attendees who show up knowing where their gaps are get far more out of it.

5

The evening events are where deals happen

Monday's Legend Awards, Tuesday's partner dinners, and Wednesday's Community Closing Party are where most of the real conversations happen. Plan to stay through Wednesday night rather than leaving early.

Unbiased advice

Should you actually go?

We're sponsoring this event, so take our enthusiasm with the appropriate grain of salt. Here's the version we'd give a friend.

Go if…

  • You're running (or considering) Dynamics GP, Business Central, or another Microsoft ERP product
  • You're planning an expansion or system migration in the next 12–18 months
  • Your month-end close still depends on spreadsheets and manual reconciliation
  • You want peer benchmarks you can't get from a vendor
  • You've been meaning to meet your suppliers and advisors face to face

Skip it if…

  • You're pre-launch or still validating a single location
  • You're looking for turnkey software you can buy off a booth table
  • Your travel budget would be better spent on staff training this year
  • You attended last year and your situation hasn't changed much
  • You can only make one day — the value is in the full three
The honest version

If you're in the "skip it" column, tell us and we'll say so. We'd rather have a fifteen-minute call now and see you next year than have you spend travel budget on a room that isn't built for where you are. Either way, the Top 5 above is yours whether you register or not.
