Microsoft Dynamics GP today
Beginning with the October 2019 release, Microsoft Dynamics GP follows the Modern Policy. The Modern Policy offers continuous support and servicing, including bug fixes, new features, and the latest tax updates. Customers may stay current by applying at least one of the three yearly planned Dynamics GP releases. Before the October 2019 release, any older release will continue to follow the existing Lifecycle timelines under the Fixed Policy.
Microsoft Dynamics GP newest release features:
There are more reasons to upgrade than fear of losing mainstream support and tax updates. Here are several new features available in the latest release:
- Workflow: GP Workflow continues to expand in areas such as security, imports, exports, search features and more.
- Power BI: Use Power BI reports from within or outside of GP. See a complete picture of all your data sources in one spot.
- Top user requests: Microsoft gathers and makes changes with each version on some of the top-voted requests. Many of these changes enhance the overall user experience — making it easier than ever to navigate and utilize GP.
- Intelligent cloud: Transforms your business data into accessible information that drives decision-making. This allows you the visibility to proactively address potential issues, creating better customer experiences.
- Document attach: Expanded capabilities eliminate the filing of records by attaching records to either master records or transactions.
