The payroll tax update for Microsoft Dynamics GP and the cumulative year-end update for Microsoft Dynamics SL have officially been released. See below for details.
Dynamics GP 2020 Year-End Update
The U.S. Payroll Tax Update for Dynamics GP is now available. This latest update includes 2021 federal tax changes, a new FICA Social Security Wage Limit of $142,800 and statewide changes in the following states:
- Arkansas
- Iowa
- Kentucky
- Maine
- Minnesota
- Mississippi
- Missouri
- North Dakota
- South Carolina
Users must be on a supported version (2016 or above) of Dynamics GP in order to install the latest tax update. To download the tax table update file, log into CustomerSource.

Dynamics SL 2020 Year-End Update
Microsoft Dynamics SL CU5 is now available. This is commonly referred to as the year-end update and includes the following:
- New 1099 NEC form
- Updated 1099 MISC form
- Updated electronic file submission process
- Support for Standard and High Withholding for state deductions
- Allowing different marital status for state and federal exemption and credits
- Vendor maintenance updates
- Employee maintenance updates
This downloadable update is available only for users currently on Dynamics SL 2018. Sign in to CustomerSource to access the file.
