Dynamics 365 Business Central is available as a monthly fee per user. Here’s how to determine your monthly cost:

Step 1: Determine Number of Users

How many users will need to be on the system? Decide if each user needs full access or read-only access with light data entry.

Step 2: Choose Functionality

All users have access to Financial and Distribution modules. This Essentials version is $70 per month per user. Premium Users ($100 per month) also have access to Manufacturing and Service Order Management components. All users must be on the same version.

Step 3: Calculate License Cost

Multiply the number of users times the cost of the user type (Essentials or Premium) to arrive at your base number. Add any lighter “Team” users for $8 per month, and you have your monthly subscription cost.

Step 4: Engage a Consultant
