Boyer & Associates implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP to help consolidate financial information across the organizations, improve budgeting and forecasting capabilities, as well as streamline financial reporting.

To update the non-profit’s older legacy-based financial management system, Boyer & Associates implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP, an industry leading financial accounting solution. “Our legacy based software lacked integration with other solutions, was difficult to maintain and lacked the financial reporting capabilities we needed.  Having an industry leading solution like Microsoft Dynamics GP coupled with Boyer’s expertise in implementing ERP solutions for non-profits, gave us the confidence we needed,” said Greg Waibel CFO at the YMCA of Greater St. Paul and Metropolitan Minneapolis.

The new solution from Boyer offers real-time access to accurate financial information across the organization and deeper insight into budgeting and forecasting. “Microsoft Dynamics GP offers deeper analysis with various views and we now have the ability to drill-down into the data quickly and easily and produce the financial reports we need to keep our team and board members informed,” he added. Since deployment, the accounting team has experienced greater operational efficiencies and has significantly reduced the time it takes to close the books each month

In addition, the organization needed a custom purchasing and inventory management program integrated with Microsoft Dynamics GP in place to help manage the various kit materials offered for YMCA programs. “We now have the ability to manage the purchasing and inventory of the kits for our members which we could not do before,” said Waibel.
